The Bolt Formula: The Path to Level 13 To reach the ultimate goal of Level 13 on Merge Island, you must master the mathematics of doubling.
Every symbol you combine is the result of an exact chain of Bolts.
To unlock the ultimate reward of the thirteenth stage on Merge Island, you need to understand the principle of doubling. Since every new symbol is created from two identical symbols of the previous stage, the energy requirement does not grow linearly, but exponentially.
It all starts with your first Bolt. This generates a base symbol of Level 1. To reach the next level, this investment doubles every time. While Level 2 costs a modest 2 Bolts, you will notice by Level 5 that the journey becomes much more demanding.
Exponential Growth
Since you need two symbols of the previous level for each higher symbol, the costs per level double. While Level 2 costs only 2 Bolts, Level 6 already requires 32 Bolts, and Level 10 reaches a staggering 512 Bolts. Therefore, it is exponentially important—especially in higher levels—that you also combine your Bolts to collect the maximum profit of 35 
Bolts, which will bring you to your goal faster and easier.
The Goal
For the final symbol of Level 13, you must combine multiple symbols. This requires an investment of thousands of Bolts to complete the entire merge chain from start to finish.
Merge Master's Pro-Tip
⚠️ Keep an eye on your board! Since you need an average of 1150 to 1250 clicks, you should use your Bolts in stages to ensure you never run out of space for new combinations. Those who calculate smartly clear away small levels immediately to make room for the big jumps.
Multiplier Bonus
Take your chance: By using x1, x2, or x4 multipliers, the number of Bolts required can vary. With the right strategy, you can reach your goal with significantly less energy than calculated in the standard cost overview!
Merge Island Calculator Pro
Your game board is your starting capital: Theoretically, a 
symbol costs 4.096 lightning bolts – but only if you were starting from scratch. Since your Coin Master island board is already populated with many symbols, you don't have to generate them all. As soon as you enter your current inventory into the calculator, it subtracts the value of your existing symbols from the total. In practice, this often reduces your energy requirement to below 1,000 bolts.
ℹ️ For symbols on your board, activate the "Next Degree" checkbox if you intend to complete that symbol next. The corresponding symbol will then be automatically doubled to provide a more realistic calculation for your board.
ℹ️ Capture and double inactive values: Here you can record symbols that are present on your board but are not currently in your active possession, allowing them to be included in the calculation.
