The Energy Formula: The Path to Stage 12To reach the ultimate goal of the 12th stage on the Merge Haven Island, you need to master the math of doubling.
Each symbol you merge is the result of an exact chain of energy bolts.
To unlock the ultimate reward of the 12th stage on the Merge Haven Island, you must understand the principle of duplication. Since each new symbol is created from two identical symbols of the previous stage, the energy requirement does not grow evenly, but exponentially.
It all starts with your first energy bolt. This creates a basic Stage 1 symbol. To reach the next stage, this requirement doubles every single time. While Stage 2 only costs a modest 2 energy bolts, you will already notice by Stage 5 that the journey becomes much more challenging.
Exponential Growth
Since you need two symbols of the previous stage for each higher symbol, the cost doubles per level. While Stage 2 only costs 2 energy bolts, Stage 6 already requires 32 energy bolts, and Stage 10 a whopping 512 energy bolts.
The Goal
For the final symbol of Stage 12, you have to merge multiple symbols. This means an investment of several energy bolts to complete the entire merge chain from start to finish.
Pro Tip from the Merge Master
⚠️ Keep an eye on your board! Since you need between 901 and 983 clicks on average, you should use your energy bolts in stages so you never lose space for new combinations. Clever players clear out the lower stages immediately to make room for the big leaps.

symbol costs 2.048 lightning bolts – but only if you were starting from scratch. Since your Coin Master island board is already populated with many symbols, you don't have to generate them all. As soon as you enter your current inventory into the calculator, it subtracts the value of your existing symbols from the total. In practice, this often reduces your energy requirement to below 1,000 bolts.
ℹ️ For symbols on your board, activate the "Next Degree" checkbox if you intend to complete that symbol next. The corresponding symbol will then be automatically doubled to provide a more realistic calculation for your board.
